Allspice Berries

A warming fragrant aroma with flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It is a versatile spice that can be used to flavour both sweet and savoury dishes.

Coarsely crush the berries and rub onto meat before cooking, also use in mulled drinks, Christmas pudding, pickles, marinades and Jamaican jerk chicken.

Drop Allspice Berries into the water of a boiling ham and simmer for the flavours to be absorbed.
